
Things To Do And See
There are a wide range of activities and days out including Anglesey Sea Zoo, the National Trust property of Plas Newydd, pleasure flights from Caernarfon Airport or visit the famous RSPB reserve at South Stack Light House. The town of Beaumauris overlooking the Menai Straits has a medieval castle, Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse and a Museum of Childhood.
Snowdonia is an easy drive by car with the National Park and the slate mines all well worth a visit.

Wind and Kite Surfing
Conditions at Rhosneigr are renowned as some of the best in the UK for both windsurfing and surfing. There is a wind and kite surfing school in the village.

Golf
The Anglesey Golf Club in Rhosneigr has an 18 hole links course set amongst sand dunes and heathland in an important wildlife conservation area.
Puffin Island trips
Puffin Island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) north of Beaumaris. Trips round the island run in the summer. Details http://www.puffinisland.org.uk/visiting-the-island
Fishing
There are many sites around Rhosneigr for both shore and boat angling, offering plentiful catches.
Walking
There are lovely walks from gentle strolls along the beach to the 125-mile Anglesey Coastal Path, which passes only metres from the house.
Local Botany
The plant life on neighbouring sand dunes and heathland is very varied and some of the plants are rare and protected. There are over 100 botanical species growing nearby. See our botany page for a full list.
